Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official junior game development program for children aged 5–10 years. Aussie Hoops enables participants of all abilities the opportunity to learn basketball in a structured, inclusive and safe environment, developing physical fitness, social skills and an understanding of the sport while having fun.
The Aussie Hoops program is delivered in each school term, delivered by nationally accredited coaches, with a focus on participation and inclusiveness.

Aussie Hoops is all about fun and friends and getting started in basketball for children aged 5–10 years.
The Aussie Hoops curriculum maximises participation for all abilities and combines traditional and sometimes non-traditional basketball activities, all with one key theme – FUN!
