NWBU Life Membership is awarded to acknowledge the significant contributions of volunteers to the NWBU Competition. Contributions are categorised as Playing, Coaching, Refereeing, Administering, Support Services or General. NWBU Life Membership is only achieved once a nominee reaches the required criteria in their field. The criteria includes a minimum of 10 years service to the NWBU, a high level of quality service in their chosen field, a continued and sustained contribution to the development of Basketball, positive contributions made to improving the standards of basketball in the region, and the nominee must already hold a NWBU Service award.
