BASKETBALL TASMANIA TRI SERIES
The Basketball Tasmania Tri-Series allows the players from the State Development and Future Development Programs to put into practice the skills they have been learning in their programs.
Played over three weekends the Tri-Series gives our state best players the chance to shine, but also allow coaches and referees the opportunity to work with the best junior athletes.

TJBL Northern & Southern Conference
The Tasmanian Junior Basketball League Northern and Southern Conference will provide representative competition for Under 12 to Under 18 Boys and Girls in Tasmania, as well as provide development for coaches and officials through high-quality matches.

The State Junior Championships are the pinnacle events on Basketball Tasmania's calendar. With Constituent Association Member glory on the line in the Under 10 State Tournament and Under 12 - Under 18 Championships.

PRIMARY, HIGH AND COLLEGE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Our school based competitions are the most participated events on the Basketball Tasmania Calendar. The College Championships showcase our best older athletes, many with NBL1 experience.
Regional Primary and High School events are played in North, North West and South Tasmania before the top three from each region coming together for the State finals.

To comply with the Basketball Tasmania Return to Play Guidelines, spectators are required to sign in for all events to enable trace and tracking to occur. An online sign-in option is available by clicking here. It is important to sign in on the day of each event, not before.

Physical sign in options on the day for all events will still be available.

STATE LEAGUE
The Basketball Tasmania State League is the premier competition for senior mens and womens teams in Tasmania. Played over two weekend tournament style days and one mid week regional round the top four teams in the mens and womens competitions gather at the Basketball Tasmania Gala Weekend to fight for State glory and be crowned as the primer senior basketball team in Tasmania.

BASKETBALL TASMANIA GALA
WEEKEND
Held annually in November the Basketball Tasmania Gala Weekend, Saturday 28 November and Sunday 29 November, and provides a great mix of on-court action with the finals for the Basketball Tasmania State Wide League, off court education and a celebration of the high achievers within the sport.

LAUNCESTON CLASSIC
The Launceston Classic is Tasmanians largest basketball event for juniors. Held on the Queens Birthday long weekend (Saturday and Sunday, Launceston) this Basketball Tasmania delivered event provides a great weekend of basketball and socialising.

CAM, Affiliate Tournaments

All CAM and Affiliates wishing to run tournament events must be approved by Basketball Tasmania prior to them being advertised. Basketball organisations may apply to host events by completing the application here

2021 – UBA Lighthouse Classic Basketball Tournament
All teams are invited to enter the 2021 Ulverstone Basketball Association Lighthouse Classic Tournament to be conducted on Sat 30 & Sun 31 January, 2021 (with games also played Friday 29 January evening only) at Ulverstone (Olivers Bakery and Café Stadium).
The Lighthouse Classic Tournament is highly regarded on the basketball calendar with a long history as THE leading Mens and Womens Basketball Tournament in the state. Quality basketball with accredited referees officiating at all games.
Prize Money: $500 for WINNING Team; $200 for RUNNERS-UP
